War is a turn-based strategy game for one or two players, set on a single-screen battlefield. Players command a diverse array of military units including infantry, tanks, planes, and engineers to invade enemy territory and eliminate opposing forces. The game features various terrain types such as forests, towns, rivers, and fields, which affect unit movement and strategy. Players can utilize flight units for bombing runs, deploy fast and powerful armored units, or rely on numerous but weaker infantry. Engineers play a crucial role by constructing and demolishing bridges, enabling troops to traverse otherwise impassable terrain.
